We believe that the most effective way to learn is not by passively absorbing selected facts and ready-made content to reproduce for the next exam. That’s where curiosity-driven education comes into play. As part of an interdisciplinary learning experience, many modules offered by one of our three programs are also credited towards the other two.

We want CODE to be a place where we reflect on technology and design. Our Science, Technology and Society Programme – short STS – provides all students with the opportunity to explore great ideas and express themselves beyond their field of study. STS tries to make you more creative, and prepare you for the responsibility that comes with working at the heart of many current social changes.

But first we want to find out what competencies you already have. Although we don’t demand it, we are sure that many of our applicants already have significant programming, design or product management skills, knowledge, and experience. Our goal is to make them tangible and document them in your Individual Competence Profile. This profile will be the cornerstone of your learning experience and represent your advancements and successes in a more meaningful way than any collection of grades.
